Mike and I have been in Ohio now for almost two weeks, and something that is hopefully becoming a tradition is Thursday nights at the Perrysburg farmer's market. I love it! I love that its in the evenings and not crazy early on a Saturday morning, so we actually go. And it goes from March through October, so we'll be able to get whatever is in season there for most of the year. It is on the main street of Perrysburg, which is adorable, and conveniently a block from Mike's office. I go meet him at his office, we do a loop to see what's there and get our produce for the week.
This is a kind of terrible shot of the market:
It's really hard to get a good shot, but its about two and a half blocks long, on both sides of the street. Lots to choose from! So far we've been trying to spread out our purchases and not get everything from just one place. It is also the perfect place to use the market bag I brought home from Kenya!
Luckily its a big, very strong bag, because we put a lot in it! Here's our haul from last night:
How wonderful! I love that one of the first things you did (and loved) in Kansas City was the farmers' market and now it is the same in Ohio!
